It was a tree
It was just a golden colored leaf filled tree
with no significances
with no special carvings
It was even average height
No, below average
Surrounded by artificial looking shrubs
Cracks and falling bark
Crusted crunchy leaves around it
But as the sun was going down
The sunlight hit that insignificant tree
in an significant way
And the light gave the tree a whole new look
It was more glamorous
More appreciated
And even though I saw this tree as nothing special
The light showed and displayed everything beautiful
about this tree
And in that moment
I was thankful to be alive
cause at the times I feel dull and broken
I’ll think about this tree
and realize the the light
hasn’t hit me just right just yet
And I give my praise.
